Service(s): Any of the professional makeup artistry services provided by Elevated Artistry, as listed under the “Services” menu on the Home page of this website.
Client: The main recipient of the Service(s).
Company: Elegance by Joy Renee, LLC.
A The agreement between the Client and Elegance by Joy Renee, confirmed in writing (including by email), for the provision of the Service(s).
Fee: The amount payable by the Client to Elegance by Joy Renee for the Service(s) outlined in the Agreement.
The Event: The occasion and venue where the Service(s) will be provided by Elegance by Joy Renee.
Party: Persons in addition to the Client requiring Service(s) at the Event.
Studio: Elegance by Joy Renee Studio, 213 S Main St, Kalispell MT, 59901.
Team: Joy Mooney and any contracted makeup artists or assistants representing Elegance by Joy Renee, as listed on the “About” or “Team” page of this website.
Services are only secured upon receipt of a non-refundable retainer payment.
The retainer payment can be made before or after a trial session, if requested. Receipt of a retainer payment confirms the Agreement and secures Elegance by Joy Renee’s availability for the Event on the agreed date and time for the agreed Fee.
The retainer amount will be applied toward the final Fee due. Inquiries for which a retainer has not been paid are not confirmed; therefore, availability cannot be guaranteed and an Agreement is not formally in place until the retainer is received.
Retainers are non-refundable to cover administrative costs and loss of potential bookings for the reserved date.
Cancellations are only valid when received in writing via email.
The Fee will always be confirmed in writing via email. Verbal agreements are not considered valid by Elegance by Joy Renee.
Elegance by Joy Renee reserves the right to withdraw or change special offers and rates at any time, with the exception of where an emailed Agreement is already in place with the Client.
For other makeup services or private lessons, bookings are confirmed upon payment of the Fee in full and written confirmation via email from Elegance by Joy Renee.
This payment confirms the Agreement and secures Elegance by Joy Renee’s services.
Cancellations are only valid when received in writing via email.
The Fee will always be confirmed in writing via email. Verbal agreements are not considered valid by Elegance by Joy Renee.
Elegant reserves the right to withdraw or change special offers and rates at any time, with the exception of where an emailed Agreement is already in place with the Client.
Travel expenses are incurred for all bookings outside a 2-hour round trip of Kalispell, MT.
Distances are calculated using Google Maps or an equivalent online journey planner.
Any necessary accommodations for early start times or long-distance travel will be discussed and agreed upon with the Client during the booking process.
If the Event location requires additional transportation methods (e.g., flights, ferry, train), these costs will be outlined and agreed upon in advance.
For destination or out-of-state bookings:
Mileage to/from the departure airport, parking fees, or shuttle costs.
Round-trip airfare for each booked artist.
Checked baggage fees if required for makeup kit and supplies.
All on-location transportation needed to reach the Event (e.g., rental car, ride-share).
The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective and time-efficient travel arrangements while ensuring the safety of kits and equipment.
Accommodation expenses are incurred for bookings requiring:
Departure from Kalispell, MT before 6:30 AM to arrive on time.
A return journey ending after 10:00 PM.
Accommodation will be at least a 3-star standard (or comparable Airbnb) and agreed upon with the Client in advance. Costs include applicable taxes and fees.
On away from home applies to cover meals and incidental expenses. For high-cost cities, the per diem may be increased in line with the US G for meals and incidentals.
All travel and accommodation expenses will be discussed with the Client during the booking process and detailed in the Agreement. Elegance by Joy Renee will always aim to secure the most cost-effective and time-efficient options without compromising comfort or safety.
An invoice for the balance of the Fee will be sent 6 weeks before the Event date unless the Event is booked less than 6 weeks in advance, in which case it will be sent immediately.
Full payment of the balance is due 4 weeks before the Event. If the Event is less than 4 weeks away, full payment is required to secure the booking.
Payments can be made by debit/credit card or bank transfer.
Bookings are only confirmed once payment has cleared in the Company’s bank account.
It is the Client’s responsibility to inform Elegance by Joy Renee of:
Any medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities for themselves or any member of the Party.
Any hair or skin concerns that could affect the outcome of services.
Enough is not liable for any reaction or condition that arises if the Client has not disclosed known conditions or is unaware of them at the time of service.
The Company reserves the right to cancel the Agreement if:
The Client’s behaviour is deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
A disclosed or observed condition presents a risk to the Client’s health.
In these cases, any payments already made are non-refundable.
It is the Client’s responsibility to inform Elegance by Joy Renee of:
Any medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities for themselves or any member of the Party.
Any hair or skin concerns that could affect the outcome of services.
Enough is not liable for any reaction or condition that arises if the Client has not disclosed known conditions or is unaware of them at the time of service.
The Company reserves the right to cancel the Agreement if:
The Client’s behaviour is deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
A disclosed or observed condition presents a risk to the Client’s health.
In these cases, any payments already made are non-refundable.
Elegance by Joy Renee will always endeavour to honour the Agreement to the best of its ability.
There may be circumstances beyond our control where an artist is unwell, delayed, or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. In such cases, we will inform the Client at the earliest possible opportunity and make every effort to arrange favourable alternative arrangements if possible.
Elegance by Joy Renee reserves the right to offer the Client compensation in the event that we are unable to honour the Agreement. Any compensation offered will depend on the specific circumstances and will be discussed openly and honestly with the Client.
Elegance by Joy Renee will always endeavour to honour the Agreement to the best of its ability.
There may be circumstances beyond our control where an artist is unwell, delayed, or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. In such cases, we will inform the Client at the earliest possible opportunity and make every effort to arrange favourable alternative arrangements if possible.

Unless otherwise stated:
If cancelled by the Company, any payments made will be refunded in full within 7 days.
Weddings:
Cancellations made by the Client less than 6 weeks before the Event incur the full booking cost.

Cancellations made less than 3 weeks before the service incur the full booking cost.
Cancellations before this time will be refunded in full.
Any non-refundable travel or accommodation expenses already paid by the Company on behalf of the Client will be invoiced to the Client in full.
Trial session payments are non-refundable.
Cancellations are only valid if received via email to joy@elegancebyjoyrenee.com.
Gift vouchers are available exclusively as e-vouchers delivered via email and must be purchased and paid for in full through the designated Shop pages of this website. They are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are not transferable.
Gift vouchers are refundable only if cancelled via email to joy@elegancebyjoyrenee.com within 14 days of purchase. Refunds will be issued within 7 days of receipt of cancellation.
Bookings for gift voucher services must be made via email to joy@elegancebyjoyrenee.com and will be confirmed in writing by Elegance by Joy Renee.
Once a date has been reserved for the gift voucher service, it may only be amended once. Any amendment must be received via email at least 2 weeks before the scheduled service date. Failure to do so will render the gift voucher null and void.
Elegance by Joy Renee will not use photographic or video images of the Client, Party, or Event for promotional purposes without the Client’s express written permission.
Maximum time allocation for trial sessions: The maximum time that the Team can spend on any one trial is 2.5 hours for a makeup or hair booking or 3.5 hours for a makeup and hair booking. Any additional time required for trial sessions will have to be booked as a repeat trial.
Repeat Trials: Charged at the same rate as the first trial.
Single bride supplements and minimum booking sizes for bridal services: Extra charges are applicable for single bride bookings, and there are minimum booking sizes for bridal services for certain times/distances. You will be informed of these after your inquiry.
Assistants: Large bookings or tight timelines may require an additional artist or assistant; their travel, accommodation, and per diem will be invoiced if applicable.
Individual Lashes: Included in makeup pricing. No discount applies if declined.
Makeup/hairstyling services for younger members of the Party: Makeup services for members of the Party who are up to 12 years old are complimentary. This will only include lip gloss, blusher, and shimmery eyeshadow application. If a more complete makeup service is required, the full bridesmaid’s price will apply.
Hairstyling services for members of the Party who are up to 10 years old are complimentary. This will only include plaits or loose waves with a plait, up to 15 minutes of hairstyling per Party member.
Hair extensions: The Client will be advised if hair extensions are necessary to create the hairstyle requested by the Client. This can only be advised by a Team member after assessing the Client’s hair type in person. If hair extensions are advised but declined by the Client, it may not be possible for the Team member to create the hairstyle requested, this is at the discretion of the Team member. Hair extensions can be purchased at the time of the booking from all hairstyling Team members.
Additional attendees to bookings at the Studio: If more than 1 additional person will be attending a booking at the Studio along with the Client the Company are to be informed at the booking stage to ensure everyone can be comfortably accommodated.
